Orthopedic Physical Therapist
Alpha Project Phyzio is a fast-growing cash-pay physical therapy practice in Maryland helping active adults, runners, and athletes stay active for life.
We’re adding another physical therapist to our team who wants to do exceptional clinical work, continue growing as a clinician, and help us raise the standard for physical therapy in Maryland.
If you love working with active people and want the freedom to treat the person in front of you instead of working around insurance limitations, you’ll feel at home here.
What your day looks like
Your schedule is built around giving patients your full attention.
You’ll see one patient per hour, one-on-one. No double-booking. No productivity quotas.
Because we’re a cash-pay practice, there are no prior authorizations, visit caps, or insurance companies dictating the care you can provide.
You’ll have the time and autonomy to use your clinical reasoning, build an individualized plan of care, and help each patient work toward the things that matter to them.
We want you focused on being an exceptional clinician, not fighting with insurance companies.
Why the work matters
Our patients aren’t looking to simply become “pain-free.” They want their lives back.
They want to run races, lift heavy, play sports, keep up with their kids, and stay active as they get older.
Too often, active people with knee, back, shoulder, and other orthopedic pain are told to stop doing the activities they love. At Alpha Project Phyzio, our goal is different. We help people understand what their bodies are capable of, rebuild confidence, and get back to performing at a high level.
That means the work is never cookie-cutter. You’ll treat active people with real goals and help them keep doing the things that make their lives better.
You’ll have support to grow.
You don’t need to walk through the door already knowing everything about treating runners and lifters.
If those are areas you want to develop, we’ll help you get there.
Our clinical mentorship includes shadowing, case reviews, and hands-on guidance from experienced clinicians. You’ll begin with cases that fit your current skill set while continuing to build your confidence and clinical reasoning with more complex patients.
We want you to become a better clinician while you’re here.
What you’ll do
Deliver one-on-one, hour-long treatment sessions without double-booking or rushing
Build long-term relationships with a diverse active population, including runners
Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports performance cases
Collaborate with a tight-knit orthopedic and sports performance team on complex cases
Continue developing your clinical skills through continuing education and in-house mentorship
What we’re looking for
Licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland, or license-eligible
Orthopedic experience preferred
Available 20–40 hours per week
Strong patient engagement and communication skills
Comfortable working with diverse populations and age groups
A self-starter who takes ownership while also enjoying being part of a team
Experience treating distance runners is a plus, not a requirement
What you’ll earn
$80,000–$100,000 with performance bonuses
401(k) with matching
CEU reimbursement and professional development support
PTO plus paid holidays
Flexible scheduling
Health insurance available
If you want to spend more of your career treating active people, developing your skills, and doing the kind of physical therapy you got into this profession to do, we’d love to meet you.

Alpha Project Phyzio is a fast-growing cash-pay physical therapy practice in Maryland helping women overcome their pelvic floor conditions and get back to lifting, running, and enjoying life.
We’re adding a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to our team, and we’re open to two types of clinicians: an experienced pelvic health PT looking for a different way to practice, or an orthopedic PT who wants to develop their skills in pelvic floor physical therapy.
You do not need to arrive as a pelvic health expert. If you’re a strong clinician who is eager to learn, we’ll help you build those skills through mentorship, education, and hands-on support.
What your day looks like
You’ll see one patient per hour, one-on-one. No double-booking. No productivity quotas.
Because we’re a cash-pay practice, your clinical decisions aren’t dictated by prior authorizations, visit caps, or what an insurance company is willing to reimburse.
You’ll have the time to listen, think, educate, and build an individualized plan around what your patient actually wants to get back to doing.
Our patients are active people, and our approach to pelvic health reflects that.
The goal isn’t simply to reduce symptoms. We want to help patients return to running, lifting, exercising, competing, having sex, caring for their families, and living active lives with confidence.
New to pelvic floor? We’ll train you.
If you’re coming from an orthopedic background and pelvic health is the next skill set you want to develop, we don’t expect you to figure it out on your own.
You’ll receive structured clinical mentorship, including shadowing, case reviews, hands-on guidance, and support as you begin treating pelvic health patients.
You’ll start with cases appropriate for your current experience and build your skills and confidence over time.
We want to develop excellent pelvic health clinicians, not simply hire people who already know everything.
Already experienced in pelvic health?
If you already treat pelvic floor conditions, this is an opportunity to practice in an environment where you have time with your patients and the freedom to think beyond a traditional insurance-based plan of care.
You’ll be able to combine pelvic health with orthopedics, strength, movement, and performance to help patients return to the activities that matter to them.
You’ll also be part of a team that values collaboration, clinical reasoning, continuing education, and becoming better at what we do.
Why the work matters
Pelvic floor symptoms can change how someone exercises, competes, works, travels, has sex, cares for their family, and feels in their own body.
Too many people accept those limitations because they’ve been told their symptoms are normal, that they should avoid certain activities, or that there isn’t much they can do about them.
We want to change that.
At Alpha Project Phyzio, pelvic health is part of helping people stay active for life. We treat the person, not just the pelvic floor.
What you’ll do
Deliver one-on-one, hour-long patient sessions without double-booking or rushing
Evaluate and treat pelvic health and orthopedic conditions
Build individualized plans of care around each patient's goals
Help patients return to running, lifting, exercise, sport, and everyday life
Collaborate with our orthopedic and performance physical therapy team
Develop your pelvic health skills through mentorship, case reviews, and continuing education
Build long-term relationships with patients throughout their care
What we’re looking for
Licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland, or license-eligible
Available 20–40 hours per week
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Comfortable building trust and discussing sensitive health concerns professionally
A self-starter who takes ownership while enjoying being part of a collaborative team
A genuine interest in pelvic health, orthopedics, movement, and helping people stay active
Pelvic floor experience is a plus, not a requirement
Orthopedic or sports physical therapy experience is also valuable
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is coachable, curious, and committed to becoming an exceptional clinician.
What you’ll earn
$80,000–$100,000 with performance bonuses
401(k) with employer matching
Continuing education reimbursement and professional development support
PTO plus paid holidays
Flexible scheduling
Health insurance available
Structured clinical mentorship and pelvic health training
If you’re an experienced pelvic health PT who wants more freedom in how you treat, or an orthopedic PT who has been wanting to add pelvic health to your skill set, we’d love to meet you.
